Today We will discuss About EEM means Electrical and Electronic Measurements what we will study in this Subject All About Electrical Measurements How we will measure unit in different way i.e current, voltage  in this subject total Five Units For the Study.

 

UNITS / CHAPTERS  

UNIT 1 - Fundamental of Measurements

 

 

so in this unit we will study about measurements Significance, units, fundamental quantities and standards What is measurements , Significance of measurements Units CGS Mks System, What is E.M.F. Standards,Instruments Absolute and Secondary-instruments. Analog and Digital Instrument Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Instruments, Static And Dynamic Characteristics of measuring instruments And Calibration.

 

 

UNIT 2 - Measurements of Voltage and current 

So in this unit we will study about Analog meters permanent magnet moving coil (PMMC) and moving iron (MI) meter Dc ammeter, Dc voltmeter, AC voltmeter, Ohmmeter Clamp etc.

 

 

UNIT 3- Measurement of Electric Power

So In this unit we will study about ammeter type watt meter: Construction and working.Moving Iron Repulsion Type Instrument
Range: Multiplying factor and extension of range.Moving Iron (MI) Instrument Parts, Material used and their Function Errors and compensations. Active and reactive power measurement: One, two and three. waste water method etc.

 

UNIT 4- measurement of Electric Energy

• Single and three phase electronic energy meter constructional features and working principle

• Errors and their compensations

• Calibration of single phase electronic energy meter using direct loading.
  

   

UNIT 5- Measuring Instruments

Measurement of resistance: Low, Medium and High; Meager and earth tester;Multilateral L-C-R meter. Frequency meter.Phase sequence and Phase sequence indicator.
Synchroscope and Infrared meter 53Single beam/single tracer CRO, Digital storage  Oscilloscope: Basic block diagram, working, Cathode ray tube, electrostatic definition, vertical amplifier, tme base|generator, horizontal amplifier, measurement of voltage 54amplitude / time period / frequency I phase angle delay Synchroscope. Synchrosoope (Weston Type Dynamo-meter Type specifications. : Interred Meter (R Meter) 5-20signal generator: need, working and basic block diagram.Infrared Meter (R) Meter..Function generator: need, working and basic block diagram.
